Profile
I started my career in academics with Bristol Kids Club in 2010 and soon after I began substitute teaching primarily at Bristol. Within a year I was offered a position as a special ed aide. Two years after that I began working as an RTI instructor for Bristols gifted and talented math students.
As I finished my master's degree in 2016 I was offered a full-time position that would utilize both my bachelor's and master's degrees at Salem School District. At the time the decision to leave Bristol School was one of the toughest career decisions I had faced to date. In hindsight the decision to leave provided me with many opportunities for professional growth. While at Salem School I developed the following professional skills.
- Proficiency in the FCC's E-rate program. This is a program that heavily subsidizes infrastructure costs for schools and libraries based on their NSLP count.
- Introduced to SIS systems (Skyward).
- Project Management. While at Salem I successfully lead several infrastructure upgrade projects that improved network conditions for staff and students. These included Server deployments, Network design, Data migration systems, access point, and switch upgrades.
- Established Salems Schools student lead production team in which selected students were trained in production management. These students were then tasked with all aspects of managing school productions. Students were trained to run a studio mixer very similar to the one that Westosha Central uses. Lighting theory and programming. In my last year, I incorporated videography and video editing into the training students were receiving.
In February of 2020, Bristol School invited me back, an offer I could not refuse. In returning, I was well aware that the road ahead was going to be a bit of an uphill battle. but I knew the members of the team I would be returning to lead and I was confident that with their help we could make positive changes. In returning to Bristol it is my hope that under my leadership Bristols students and staff will come to be known as innovators in the virtual era of academics.

Community Engagement
A passion of mine is working with students in production and theatre management. I am also employed at Westosha Central High School on a part-time basis as a Technology Director for Centrals Drama department. I am proud of the fact that my tech team at Central has one of the highest student retention rates of the drama club. As a employee at Salem School I was able to work with middle school students in an after school production team. Many of these students have gone on to join the high school tech team and I have had the opportunity to work with several students from their sixth grade year through high school in this capacity.
I am also the sitting president of Lakeland Little League. A youth sports organization that has been providing communities west of the I with quality baseball and softball instruction since 1955. It continues to be a great honor to serve my community in this way. I bleive baseball teaches life skills such as resiliance, committment, persistance, and team work like no other sport can.
