I consider it and honor and a privilege to serve as your District Administrator.
Bristol School and the Bristol Community hold a special place in my heart. My children were raised here in Bristol and attended Bristol School. I'm forever grateful for the quality education they received which provided them a solid foundation to achieve future success. I'll always remember the deep connections forged between the school and the community during their time as students. I've experienced firsthand how the positive relationship between the school and the community helped each and every student. I will strive to build these kinds of positive relationships with all stakeholders in order to create the greatest opportunities for our students.
For those of you who may not know, this is my second year as your District Administrator. My previous years (2004-2019) were spent right down the road as the Salem School District Administrator. Prior to becoming a District Administrator, I served as a principal for 14 years here at Bristol School (1990-2004) and for one year (1989-1990) at Randall School. I taught and coached for five years (1984-1989) in Zion, Illinois.
Thirty-seven years in education may seem like a long time to some, but the years go by quickly when you enjoy what you do. While the challenges remain great during these unprecedented times, so do the opportunities. I look forward to working together with you to face these challenges and opportunities ahead of us.
Go Renegades!
