Three-Year-Old Programs and Services
Child Find Evaluation & Screenings:
Public awareness activities are designed to identify, locate and evaluate all children with disabilities who may be in need of early intervention programs or special education as early as possible for children ages birth-three years old.
If you have concerns regarding your child's development, please contact Brenda Downey, School Psychologist, at 262-857-2334, to discuss options, services, and/or next steps.
Three-year-old Screenings:
Our 3K developmental screening program is open to children who are three years of age on or before 9/1/26 and is designed to comply with Child Find obligations and determine if individual children are meeting developmental milestones. During the screening, children are invited to explore the early childhood classroom as they participate in play-based activities conducted by our early childhood team in the areas of language/communication, motor, academics/cognition, and social/emotional skills.
During the screening, parents are invited to explore the adjoining early childhood classroom and review developmental information. At the end of the screening, parents and children will be reunited and provided with results. It is important to understand that a screening is not the same as an evaluation.
If the District is in a position to host a 3K program in Fall 2026, we hope families will consider allowing their child to participate as a regular education peer.
Screening Dates:
Screenings will be held at Bristol School in the mornings on Friday, April 17, 2026, and Friday, May 8, 2026. Registration is required. If you have questions about screenings or wish to register, please contact Elizabeth Delimat at delimat.eli@bristol.k12.wi.us.
