The Bristol School Counseling Department strives to provide innovative developmentally appropriate school counseling services that align with the Wisconsin Comprehensive School Counseling Model and the American School Counseling Association National Model.  

The mission of the Bristol School Counseling Department:

• To provide access to an equitable, multi-tiered, comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program and system of support that meets the needs of students. 
• To deliver the components of a comprehensive school counseling program through the school counseling curriculum, individual student planning, responsive services, and system support services.
• To proactively assist students in recognizing and believing in their optimum (optimal) potential through life skills learning, academic and personal growth and development, and career/future awareness and planning.

The vision of the Bristol School Counseling Department:

Bristol School Counselors will:

• Provide a safe, welcoming, and positive environment.
• Team with and be advocates for students, their grown-ups, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in seeking stakeholder feedback, data and program analysis, life-long learning and enrichment, and professional development activities to support the school counseling program. 

The Professional School Counselors at Bristol School believe:

Each student is unique and worthy of dignity, love and belonging, and respect. Each student regardless of ethnic/racial identity, age, economic status, abilities/disabilities, language, immigration status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity/expression, family type, religious/spiritual identity, and appearance has access to a comprehensive school counseling program.
