2026-2027 4K-5K Enrollment Window is Now Open!

Bristol School's 4K/5K enrollment window is extended through March 13, 2026.

Welcome new families!

All children must be 4 or 5 years old on or by September 1, 2026 to enroll for the 2026-2027 school year.

All new four and five-year-old Bristol resident children are to participate in a screening process that:

• Creates an opportunity, prior to the school year, to get to know your child
• Assists Bristol's team in determining the best classroom placement for your child
• Establishes a balance in classroom rosters for Bristol teaching staff

Failure to notify Bristol School District #1 of a recent address change could jeopardize your status for the next school year.

How do I enroll my 4-year-old or 5-year-old for the 2026-2027 school year?

• Step 1: View the ENROLLMENT FLYER, then complete and return the NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT PACKET* to the school office (door #2).
• Step 2: Provide Proof of Residency and Birth Certificate documents. New Bristol resident families must provide three documents to prove residency. Current Bristol families must provide one document to prove residency.
• Step 3: Participate in the Screening Event (March 19 or March 20). Families will be notified by the school office of their screening appointment day and time after completing step #2. Bristol students currently enrolled in Bristol's four-year-old program do not need to participate in this screening event to enroll in 5-year-old kindergarten. Please note that a screening is not synonymous with an evaluation. The purpose of a screening is to determine if key developmental milestones have been met. The screening provided to your child is a general review of expected skills and is provided to all children in the same age range. An evaluation is a tailor-made, comprehensive assessment of specific skills in areas that may be of developmental concern, and requires hours of assessment by specially trained evaluators.
• Step 4: Complete Student Registration for all students attending Bristol School in grades 4K-8 (August). Skyward: Family Access credentials (username and password) will be provided to families by August to complete the registration process online.

*Enrollment packet completion is not the same as registration. All families must participate in registration in August. Enrollment + Screening + Registration = Become a Bristol Renegade!
