Bristol is excited to announce a district-wide partnership with Securly in safeguarding our students and your children.
Securly is a student safety company that administers a web filtering management tool specifically to:
Detect self-harm/inappropriate online student searches and content.
Notify schools and guardians of unsafe and inappropriate searches and content.
Provide insight into children’s online activity differentiating between school and home use.
Securly protects more than 10 million students across the US at school and at home, plus over 2 million parents engaging in their child’s activity on school devices by:
Providing a safer, more productive digital world for our students.
Being dedicated to keeping young minds healthy, engaged, and inspired.
Adhering to strong data privacy and management laws.
Through this partnership, the students of Bristol School District #1 will be protected on any device when using a Bristol-issued Google Workspace account AND searching online under their Bristol-issued Google profile (username and password).*
*It is not based on the Google application being used but on the Google profile that is in use/synced.
