Current Bristol School Open Enrollment Students do not need to apply annually; however, siblings of current students must apply for open enrollment if they did not attend in the 2025-2026 school year. Once an open-enrollment student is accepted, that student may continue to attend Bristol School District #1 until eighth-grade graduation or transferring to another district.
- Transportation: Parents are responsible for providing transportation to and from school in the nonresident school unless specified by a student's IEP.
- Open Enrollment Costs: There are no tuition costs to parents for participating in open enrollment.
- Student Fees: Open enrollment students will be charged the same fees as resident students.

- Home Address Changes DURING 2025-2026 school year: Complete and return a Tuition Waiver Application to the District Office.
- Home Address Changes and Approved Tuition Waiver DURING 2025-2026 school year: You must complete and submit an Open Enrollment Application by the open enrollment deadline to be considered for approval in the 2026-2027 school year.
- Home Address Changes AFTER the 2025-2026 school year ends: Please contact the school.
Failure to notify Bristol School District #1 of a recent address change could jeopardize your status for the next school year.
