Meet Your 4K-4th Grade Principal
It is a true privilege and honor to continue serving the Bristol School community in my new role as the 4K-4th Grade Principal. Having spent the past five years as Bristol’s Principal of Curriculum and Instruction, I am thrilled to transition into this role and deepen my focus on our youngest learners.
My work at the district level, combined with closely supporting our elementary students and teachers over the past few years, has deeply expanded my instructional leadership skills and ignited a true love for this foundational level of education. I am incredibly excited to grow my partnerships with students, families, educators, and stakeholders in Bristol to foster a culture of learning that develops student responsibility, independence, and resilience.
My Educational Journey
I began my educational career in the Kenosha Unified School District as a middle school math teacher. Soon after, I stepped onto a leadership pathway, taking on the roles of instructional technology teacher and instructional coach. Driven by a strong passion for creating effective learning environments for students, I then moved to a district-level position where I directly supported school leaders, instructional coaches, mentors, and teachers. This diverse background has provided me with a holistic view of student growth from early childhood through early adolescence.
Cultivating a Culture of Growth
I remain deeply committed to cultivating a trusting, collaborative, and welcoming learning environment among students, staff, and families here at Bristol School. I look forward to continuing to build strong relationships with the many members of our wonderful community to support the learning, growth, and success of all students.
Warmly,
Mrs. Keri Heusdens
4K-4th Grade Principal
