Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!

Greetings!  My name is Ms. Guzman and I will be your child's K-5 music teacher. I am excited to be joining Bristol School as a new staff member this year. I will be entering my 15 th year as a music educator, having taught within the NY public school system as well as southern Wisconsin. I attended UW Whitewater, receiving my BA in Vocal Performance. Shortly after graduation I moved to NYC to pursue a career in music performance. Within the 13 years of living on the East Coast, I started a family while earning my MA in music education from CUNY Queens College as well as a Level III Kodaly Certification from New York University.  

I absolutely love teaching music. When I'm not in the classroom I teach private voice and piano lessons from my home. I enjoy attending as many LIVE music performances as possible as well as discovering new bands/performers in almost every music genre. I am also a big foodie and love discovering new restaurants with unusual dishes, awesome music, and a great ambiance.

I have one daughter that will be attending Bristol School for the first time this year.  She is the light of my life and the reason behind everything I do.
