Hello Bristol Renegades!

I received my B.S. in biology from Northern Illinois University, and worked as a microbiologist until I had children.  I was then a stay-at-home mom until my three boys were in school.  My next chapter included volunteering at my children's school.  This led to various positions within education, each one providing a different view of the importance of meeting students where they are at.  This insight drove my decision to become a school counselor, so I could support ALL students on their education journey.  I graduated with my M.S. Ed. in school counseling from Concordia University, Mequon and began working as a school counselor in Kenosha Unified.

Social emotional learning (SEL) is essential in helping our students learn and practice skills that help with academic success, healthy relationships, and fulfilling careers.  I look forward to teaming up with Bristol students, staff, and families to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and every student can learn.
