Stephanie Cornelison

Welcome to my classroom and the new school year! I am a Special Education Teacher here at Bristol and I am starting my 5th year as a teacher. 

I grew up in Deerfield, Illinois and went to college at Southern Illinois at Carbondale. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Journalism. I recently completed my Master in Education in Special Education at UW-Stevens Point.

I met my husband 19 years ago and his job in the United States Navy had us stationed in beautiful San Diego, California for 14 years. Our family was brought back to the Midwest for my husband's final duty station at Great Lakes Naval Base. We moved to Kenosha in June 2019 and have loved being back where we have changing seasons. Both of my children are California babies, I have a son who is at Central High School and a daughter who is in middle school here at Bristol.

In my free time, I enjoy puttering around my house and refinishing furniture. I love corny Hallmark movies and reading books. As a family, we enjoy movie nights and family dinners.
