Bristol School District #1

Growing • Learning • Succeeding

Please do not call the school to see if classes will be held. The best time to have an emergency plan for your child is before you need one. Parents are encouraged to review family emergency plans with children regularly and make sure the information on your child's emergency card is up-to-date.

Bristol School District No.1, while in the county of Kenosha, is not part of the Kenosha Unified School District.  If you are viewing cancellations on your local TV station, look for a listing entitled Bristol School District No.1Bristol School District #1, or Bristol Grade School.

Parents should remember that snowy weather is not the only reason school may have to close.  In the past, areas schools have had to close due to water or electric problems.  Always have a back up plan in case of emergency and make certain that your children know what this plan is and who they are to call in the event of an emergency.
