I'm the youngest of five kids and my parents were Mary Lou and Roger. I grew up in Paddock Lake and graduated from Salem Grade School and Salem Central (now Westosha Central High School). Both of my parents and two of my siblings were teachers. One could say that I came from a family of educators. My family had a big influence on my choice to become a teacher. I learned at a young age the importance of working hard and making school a priority.
I've been an employee at Bristol School for a total of 24 years. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse in 1992 and a Masters degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Milwaukee in 1997. I taught for 11 years before accepting a position in administration in 2003.
I truly enjoy working with the students, parents, staff, and the community in an effort to make a positive difference at Bristol School. While there are many challenges that we face in education, I find this field to be extremely rewarding.
On a personal note, I am married (wife Lisa) and have two children (Katie, 11 and Matthew, 13.) When not at school, I enjoy watching my kids participate in their various sports and being in the outdoors.
